ABOUT F&G

My name is Emmy and F&G is my brainchild.

Those who know me know that instead of thinking outside of the box, I stomp on it and do my own thing (where I try to out-do whatever my wildest design is at the time). Inspired from a song by Scissor Sisters, Filthy and Gorgeous is one helluva company that takes the filthiest of rescued items and restore them into a thing of gorgeousness.
What sort of items? Um, anything!
I have found items in thrift stores, sheds of family members, next to my apartment dumpster, out in nature, and tons of other places. with a little love (and a LOT of help from my awesome tools) I turn them into something that is as functionable as it is a conversation starter.
I also bake amazing cakes, cupcakes, and cookies where my above-mentioned repurposed items are used as displays. I'm not anywhere near Cake Boss standards, but if I'm able to use electronics to make it light up/spin I WILL! Oh, and multi-tiered cakes are the things I love baking most.
Another project I do on the side is graphic design and marketing. This is something I do for fun so being able to create items that are as fun and weird as me is pretty much the best thing ever.
